What we collect

We collect the information you provide when creating an account, such as your email address. We also collect limited usage and device data to keep the service reliable and secure. Because of our zero-knowledge design, we never collect or have access to your master password or the contents of your vault.

What we can’t see

Your vault is encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master password before it ever reaches us. We only ever store encrypted data. Not even Bitsecrets can decrypt your logins, cards, notes, or identities.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the service, and to communicate with you about your account. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to understand trends. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies necessary to run the site and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your encrypted data is removed from our systems.
